The Rabbits have come to live in the Village. While they were at the Party, they decided that the seaside and the friendliness of the Village People at Poppy’s Place were too good to leave.

BETTING ON RACES.
It seems that there has been a good bit of racing going on. Not that there’s anything wrong with racing.
But we have been told that some people have been BETTING on the racing. That DOES cause some problems.

NANA IS IN A VERY BAD MOOD.
We all know the sort of Trouble that comes from that !Maybe she will be in a better mood when the Rabbits move in. Nana is very fond of the Rabbits. She thinks Rabbits are helpful and clever. Some people love cats. Nana loves Rabbits. They keep her calm.
Lapina will be coming to live in the Village. She will, in fact, live in a burrow right at the foot of Nana’s Tower.
Lapina and Nana have been friends for almost 350 years.
Lapina is ALWAYS quiet and gentle and calm.

Baby Rabbits are very good at SLEEPING. When Rabbits are asleep, they smile.
